The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

Prof Babak Karimi, has been re-appointed as the President of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS), Zanjaan, for another four years in office in a decree by the Minister of Science, Research & Technology, His Excellency Prof Mansour Gholami.
The letter of appointment includes the following statements,
“In view of, and in praise and gratitude for, your valuable service and with reference to Article 4 Clause 1 of the Comprehensive Bylaws on the Administration of Universities and Higher Education, Research and Technology Institutes, you are (hereby) re-appointed as the President of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS), Zanjaan, for four years.
I hope that your efforts and endeavours will result in effective steps to elevate the tertiary education of the country on the basis of the goals, policies and plans submitted to the Islamic Consultative Assembly, making use of the beneficial experience of the distinguished lecturers, researchers and experts, while gaining the cooperation of the faculty and the students, and the shared reflections of other University Officials.
It is expected that, trusting in God the Most High, you will make your utmost efforts and endeavours to observe the Ethical Code of the Government of Wisdom and Hope, preserve public funds, apply effective policies to reduce expenditure, avoid luxury, strengthen law, order and discipline, and promote the scientific, cultural and social development of that University.”
The IASBS faculty, directors, staff, and students congratulate this re-appointment and hope that God Almighty will grant Prof Karimi ever increasing success in the qualitative and quantitative development of the scientific, research and executive activities of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS), Zanjaan.
