The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

The unworthy enemies of the Revolution and Iran have once again committed an act of treachery and cowardice by assassinating another member of the Iranian academic community, the revered and tireless scientist and capable administrator, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, by whose martyrdom they wrongly and mistakenly thought that the road to progress, independence and prosperity of this dear country might be blocked.
Those behind this unchivalrous act of terror should know that such inhuman behaviour will not only fail to stop progress in this country, but that they would make the members of the academia more determined to embark on scientific and technological advancement.
The faculty, staff and students at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences in Zanjaan condemn this inhuman, callous and barbaric act of terrorism and extend their deepest sympathy and condolences to the academic community, and especially to the families of the martyred scientist and the people of Iran and ask God almighty to grant him peace and tranquillity.
