The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

The 6th Earth Sciences School is to be held at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS) from 6 to 9 June 2022. The School’s primary focus is Earth, Energy, and Environment (E3). The school is suitable for third and fourth-year BSc students of geology, physics, and mining and surveying engineering. The Earth Sciences School aims to familiarise students with different branches of the Earth Sciences and to promote graduate studies in the Earth Sciences.
The School's registration fee is 2,500,000 Rials. Applicants should send their filled in registration form to ess@iasbs.ac.ir by 28 May 2022. It is also possible to register on the website of the School of the Earth Sciences (iasbs.ac.ir/~ess).
