The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

The IASBS has reached the 15th rank among the comprehensive universities in Iran improving its position by 39 steps in the ranking system of the Islamic World Science and Technology Citation and Monitoring Institute (ISC).
According to the latest evaluation results by the Islamic World Science and Technology Citation and Monitoring Institute, the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS), Zanjan was ranked 15th among the comprehensive universities in Iran and managed to improve its position by 39 grades in the ranking system of the country's universities in the academic year 2021-2022. The report says that the IASBS has reached the 22nd rank at the national level (15th rank among comprehensive universities) out of a combined total of 115 public universities and 17 non-governmental universities.
In this ranking, the general criteria used in the evaluation and ranking of universities and higher education institutions were in six areas of education (30% weight), research (25% weight), technology and innovation (20% weight), internationalisation (10% weight), economic impact (10% weight) and social services, infrastructure and facilities (5% weight). In these 6 fields, the IASBS ranked 4th in internationalisation (86.3%) and 7th in economic impact (85.22%) among the top 10 universities in each of these fields.
