IASBS Holds final leg of 15th National Science and Nanotechnology Olympiad for School Students

The IASBS holds the final stage of the 15th National Science and Nanotechnology Olympiad for School Students. The Olympiad’s final leg will be held from 3 to 15 August 2024. The final stage of this olympiad is a challenging scientific-practical camp in which the students work on a new topic in nanotechnology in the laboratory. They make a prototype and after carrying out the relevant analyses on the produced samples, defend the results of their work in front of panel of university lecturers, and finally write an article on what they have done.

The first stage of this olympiad, which was held among the secondary school students of grades 10 to 12 was organised by the Young Scholars Club in cooperation with the Special Headquarters for the Development of Nano and Micro Technology.

At the final stage, 40 selected students participate in a scientific-practical camp in one of the prestigious universities in the country. Finally, at the closing ceremony of this event, the Olympiad medalists are introduced. In addition to receiving special awards, the Olympiad medalists will enjoy the support of the National Elite Foundation and the Special Headquarters for the Development of Nano and Micro Technology.
