The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

The Distinguished Minister of Science, Research and Technology, Dr Hossein Simayi has, in a decree, appointed Dr Sadollah Nasiri Gheydari, as the Acting Head of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS) and has wished him success in carrying out his duties. In a separate letter, the Science Minister has thanked and expressed appreciation for the efforts made by the former IASBS President, Prof Babak Karimi.
In Dr Sadollah Nasiri Gheydari’s letter of appointment it is stated,
"In view of your commitment, expertise, and valuable experience, you are hereby appointed as the 'Acting Head of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences’.
You are expected to oversee, with trust in the Praiseworthy God, the affairs of the University on the basis of the approved laws, policies, and programmes, as well as the Islamic University Document. It is hoped that by following Islamic teachings, scientific principles, the strategy of the national reconciliation government, and by garnering the cooperation of academics and experts, you will carry out the assigned tasks in a commendable manner. I wish you increasing success and honour from God the Most High."
