The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

Dr Sadollah Nasiri Gheydari has met with the Jurisprudent Leader's Representative in the Province and the Friday Prayer Imam of Zanjan. The meeting between the IASBS’s Acting President, Dr Sadollah Nasiri Gheydari and his vice presidents and the distinguished Representative of the Jurisprudent Leader in the Province and Friday Prayer Leader of Zanjan, Hojjatoleslam Seyyed Mostafa Hosseini, took place on Wednesday, 20 November 2024. In this meeting, which was held at the Friday Imam’s Office and was also attended by the Head of the Office of the Jurisprudent Leader's Representative in the Universities of the Province, Hojjatoleslam Ali Gharadaghi, Dr Nasiri congratulated the Jurisprudent Leader’s representative and pointed out the outstanding aspects of the IASBS.
He said the IASBS had recently been ranked among the top three universities in the country in scientific excellence and emphasised the centrality of education, research, and technology at the university and the importance of the impact of the basic sciences on all other sciences.
Then, Hojjatoleslam Hosseini welcomed everyone and emphasised the position of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences as the leading university in the province. He then presented a proposal to form a coordination council for the province's universities to review, brainstorm, and propose common issues.
