The IASBS President, Prof Sadollah Nasiri Gheydari, has appointed Dr Salman Khodayifar as the Vice President for Student and Socio-Cultural Affairs and has wished him success in fulfilling his assigned responsibilities. In a separate letter, the IASBS President has also thanked the former Vice President for Student and Socio-Cultural Affairs, Dr Ali Foroush Bastani, for his dedicated service. In another decree, Prof Nasiri Gheydari appointed Dr Ali Foroush Bastani as an Adviser to the IASBS President.
Dr Salman Khodayifar’s letter of appointment states,
“In view of your commitment, knowledge and experience, you are hereby appointed, while retaining your educational and research duties, as the Vice President for Student and Socio-Cultural Affairs of the University for a period of two years from 7 September 2025. It is hoped that with reliance on Almighty God and in consultation with your colleagues, you will put in place effective plans to create a lively cultural atmosphere for students, implement the University’s strategic plan, and help realise national policy documents, in particular the National Scientific Comprehensive Plan and the Islamic University Charter.
It is expected that you will take serious steps to address the improvement of student welfare services, enhancement of the University’s social and cultural indicators, organisation of religious, cultural and national ceremonies, establishment of useful, effective and continuous relations with all parts of the University, and other duties within the organisational objectives and responsibilities of the University.
I pray to Almighty God for your continued success.”
Dr Ali Foroush Bastani’s letter of appointment states,
“In view of your valuable experience, while retaining your educational and research duties, you are hereby appointed as the Adviser to the University President. I hope that with reliance on Almighty God and through participation in meetings of the Board of Directors and the University Councils, you will succeed in advancing the University’s objectives.
I pray to Almighty God for your continued success.”
