The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

The Board of Trustees of the Sobouti–Khajehpour Prize has selected the winners of the ninth round of the award in the fields of chemistry, biological sciences, and computer science. The Chemistry Prize was awarded to Dr Reza Abaazari of the University of Maragheh for his valuable research on “The development of metal–organic frameworks for energy storage and the production of clean fuels.” The Biological Sciences Prize was awarded to Dr Mehri Haaeeli of the University of Tabriz for her distinguished research on “Antibiotic resistance in bacteria, from genomic analyses and the study of resistance mechanisms to the development of diagnostic and therapeutic methods to counter drug-resistant bacterial infections.” The Computer Science Prize was awarded to Dr Mohammad-Hossein Rahbaan of Sharif University of Technology for his significant contributions to “Robustness and capability in machine-learning systems and anomaly detection.”
The Sobouti–Khajehpour Scientific Prize was established by a group of university faculty members in honour of its founders, Prof Yousef Sobouti and Prof Mohammad-Reza Khajehpour. The prize is awarded on a rotational basis to early-career scientists in the fields of mathematics, physics, chemistry, earth sciences, biological sciences, and computer science who have carried out outstanding research.
