The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

The President of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS), Prof Sadollah Nasiri Gheydari, has appointed Mr Masoud Etaati as Adviser for Investment and Knowledge-Based Economy to the President of the Institute.
In the text of the decree, it is stated:
“In implementation of Article 14 of the Law on the Leap in Production, and in line with the establishment of the University Development and Investment Organisation, and considering your scientific qualifications and valuable professional experience, you are hereby appointed, as of 5 January 2026, as Adviser for Investment and Knowledge-Based Economy to the President of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS). It is expected that, by relying on Almighty God and drawing upon your specialised knowledge and managerial capabilities, you will make every effort to develop investment capacities, support knowledge-based initiatives, enhance the economic standing of the Institute, and establish effective links with the country’s scientific and industrial institutions. It is hoped that, through your presence and valuable counsel, the anticipated goals along the path of the Institute’s development and investment will be realised in the best possible manner.”
At the conclusion, the President of the Institute wished him continued success in fulfilling the responsibilities entrusted to him and prayed for his increasing achievement by the grace of Almighty God.
