The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

A number of faculty members at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS) have been promoted in academic rank following the approval of the University Promotion Committee. The decision was adopted at the committee’s meeting held on 30 January 2026.
The promoted faculty members are as follows:
Dr Jamal Rouein, faculty member of the Department of Mathematics, promoted from Reader (Associate Professor) to Professor.
Dr Mansour Davoudi Monfared, faculty member of the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, promoted from Lecturer (Assistant Professor) to Reader (Associate Professor).
Dr Ali Akbar Meraatan, faculty member of the Department of Biological Sciences, promoted from Lecturer (Assistant Professor) to Reader (Associate Professor).
Dr Mohammad Dehghan Niry, faculty member of the Department of Physics, promoted from Lecturer (Assistant Professor) to Reader (Associate Professor).
Dr Abdollah Neshat, faculty member of the Department of Chemistry, promoted from Lecturer (Assistant Professor) to Reader (Associate Professor).
Dr Mohammad Hassan Vahidinia, faculty member of the Department of Physics, promoted from Lecturer (Assistant Professor) to Reader (Associate Professor).
