The Computer Center is on the second floor of the Physics Department (next to the Physics computer site). This Center provides the following services to the members of the university.
Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

Today, the fragrance of victory has resounded in the skies of Islamic Iran, as 40 days of valiant steadfastness by the nation and the warriors of Islam has shattered the hollow grandeur of the front of arrogance. The recent battle has been the manifestation of the faith of a nation that did not bow its head, even slightly, in the face of the most brutal attacks of the century on the infrastructure of science, health, and life, and ultimately forced the enemy, in a position of desperation, to accept defeat and surrender before its iron will.
Honouring the memory of the martyred Leader of the Revolution and renewing allegiance to the powerful Commander-in-Chief, His Eminence Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, may God protect him, the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS) declares that this great victory is a decisive response to crimes that crossed the boundaries of humanity. Targeting schools, reputable universities such as Shahid Beheshti University, Iran University of Science and Technology, Sharif University of Technology, and destroying vital and medical centres such as the Pasteur Institute and hospitals, the ignorant enemy showed its hatred of this nation’s progress and health. However, it did not know that the rubble of scientific buildings would itself turn into a bastion of resistance.
While appreciating the unparalleled efforts of the armed forces in safeguarding the homeland’s borders, we pledge that, in the era of victory and reconstruction, through our scientific endeavour, we will replace every destroyed centre with a stronger edifice of knowledge and insight. Our path is the path of dignity and the peaks of victory, and the enemy should know that the blood of martyred professors and students will guarantee Iran’s everlasting independence.
