Torkaman Library was established in 1993. It contains a useful combination of specialized and general books, bilingual dictionaries, and specialized and general encyclopedias.
The Education Office comes under the Education and Research Department. Its main job is to manage the educational affairs of the students from registration to graduation.

The results of the Student Guild and Welfare Council election at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS) have been announced following the voting and ballot counting process.
This election was held in a healthy and competitive atmosphere with the participation of university students, aiming to strengthen the role of students in pursuing guild and welfare issues. Based on the final results and out of a total of 256 valid votes cast, the main and substitute members of the Student Guild and Welfare Council were elected as follows:

The Vice-Presidency for Student and Socio-Cultural Affairs of the university expressed his appreciation to all students participating in the election has thanked the candidates for their responsible presence and participation in this process.
It is hoped that the elected members of the Student Guild and Welfare Council will take effective steps towards improving the quality of student services by utilising the existing capacities and constructive interaction with the students and university officials and pursue guild demands and develop welfare activities.
