A member of faculty in the Department of Earth Sciences has been appointed as an invited collaborator in the Basic Sciences Division of the Academy of Sciences of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The appointment was made by the President of the Academy.

Appointment of new Acting President of IASBS

The Distinguished Minister of Science, Research and Technology, Dr Hossein Simayi has, in a decree, appointed Dr Sadollah Nasiri Gheydari as the Acting President of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Basic Sciences (IASBS).
